The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.

Fist:
Artists pin holes to the upper corners. Slight paper loss to middle left edge. Fox marks scattered intermittently across the surface mainly to the lower part. Diagonal crease to the lower left corner.

Run:
Artists pin holes to the upper corners. Minute tear and paper loss to the upper right corner, presumably related to the artists working methods. Slight tear to the lower right edge. Negligible soft creases to the four corners of the work. Three pinpoint yellow stains on the left arm and lower right foot of the figure.
