The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. Light abrasion to the four corner tips and top turnover edge, occasionally associated with paint loss. Slight craquelure intermittently across the surface in areas of white impasto. Two tiny brown paper residues on the lower right turnover edges, which is presumably studio related. Pinpoint paint losses on the upper left. A few cracks in the upper left quadrant on the red areas, and in the bottom left quadrant on the yellow areas. A few areas of hairline cracks along the left edge, left turnover edge, and left side. Two areas of dirt marks on the left, upper middle, and upper left corner. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
