The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. Pinpoint brown mould stains appear intermittently across the surface. One spot of vertical, branched cracking measuring approximately 13 cm to the bottom right corner. A vertical line of accretion in the middle area above the forehead. Hairline tension cracks along the bottom turnover edge. Slight abrasion along the lower left corner tip, upper left corner tip, and upper turnover edge. Minor abrasion line along the top edge and left edge. A small area of faint dirt marks to the lower right corner area. When examined under ultraviolet light, a few spots of mould fluoresce occasionally. No apparent retouching can be seen.
