The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is taut. Four sides are taped and thus cannot be checked. Areas of intentional light abrasion, consistent with other examples by the artist. Negligible wearings to all four corner tips. Minute yellow stain above the hair. Two horizontal marks close to the bottom. A minor vertical rubbing near the middle right edge. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent inpainting can be seen. It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
