The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work is structurally sound and stable. A few abrasion marks and scratches scattered across the surface of the work. A tiny dent on the upper left edge of the head. Upon close inspection, a thin layer of surface dust associated with minor mould can be observed. Slight scratches present mainly on the reverse of the work. Rust is present occasionally on the joint area. Other texture variations and irregularities are assumed to be consistent with artist’s chosen material and working methods. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
