It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work is structurally sound and stable. A layer of surface dust and green patina with colour variation present which is consistent with the bronze medium. A few dotted mould stains scattered mainly to the lower body. A minor area of dark scuff mark on the proper left arm. Occasional signs of corrosion can be found across the body. A strip of abrasion line along the inside turning edge of the proper left foot. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
