The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work is composed of three parts, which are structurally sound. There is a layer of dust present. A minor wood piece presumably from the bottom part of the right figure fell off. Occasional cracks and paint losses scattered over the figures and the bench, especially on the protruding edges and parts, which are consistent with the artist's working method and chosen medium. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
