The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The painting was inspected inside its frame. Board is free of cracks and warping. Slight discolouration and surface dirt observed on lighter surface on doves, due to age. Pinpoint of paint loss on tail of dove on the right of the painting, only visible upon close inspection. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
