The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is taut and the paint layer is stable. Minor rubbing to the corners. A few faint abrasions to the centre. Minute tape residue to the lower left quadrant. Faint creases near the centre and the upper left corner, only visible under strong raking light. A negligible translucent medium drop near lower right corner. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no apparent inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition.
