The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. Hairline tension cracks along the four edges and corner tips which do not directly affect the surface of the painting. A spot of pinpoint accretion in the upper right corner area. Hairline cracks in the upper middle between the white flowers, in the middle right area to the immediate right of the central white flower, in the bottom right quadrant on the white vase, the bottom left quadrant on the blue area, and on the red impasto in the middle left and middle areas. Brownish mould spots throughout the surface. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
