The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The reverse cannot be checked due to its mounting status. The sheet is complete without loss. The upper edge is deckled which is consistent with the artist's chosen medium. A pinpoint yellowish spot on the middle left edge. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
