The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. Very faint abrasion on the upper left turnover edge. A tiny abrasion mark to the lower left quadrant near the hair. Two small areas of fine hairline craquelure are visible in the brown hair near the corners of both eyes. A few faint abrasion lines scattered on the brown hair region on top of forehead. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
