The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
It is in our opinion that the painting is in overall good condition. The painting was inspected inside the frame. Paint layer and impasto is stable. Slight craquelure on lighter areas of the painting, consistent with age. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
