The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
It is in our opinion that the work is in good condition. A very light layer of green patina and dust occasionally present which is consistent with the chosen medium. A tiny spot of white stain on the hat brim which is presumably studio related. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
