The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The paper is in good condition and the paint layer is stable. Frame stains mostly along the bottom and right edges. Soft creases along the edges towards both upper corners. All of the above cannot be seen when framed. A negligible translucent accretion above the brow. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no apparent inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition.
