The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Charcoal and estompe on paper. The reverse of the sheet is attached along the upper edge to a board. Some short tears, nicks and creases in places along the edges. Some mat and light-staining. A minor surface abrasion at left of the cow.
Fusain et estompe sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est fixé le long du bord supérieur à un carton. De petites déchirures, encoches et froissures par endroits le long des bords. Brunissement de la feuille du au montage et insolation de la surface. Une petite abrasion de surface à gauche de la vache.
