The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil on canvasboard. Slightly and partially varnished. Some frame abrasion with associated areas of rubbing in places along the extreme edges. The tips of the upper right and lower left corners folded. An artist's tack hole towards the lower left corner. A couple of spots of surface accretion mainly towards the upper left edge. The pigments are fresh and strong throughout. Examined under ultraviolet light: no apparent retouching. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Huile sur carton d'artiste. L'oeuvre est légèrement et partiellement vernie. Elle n'est pas vernie. Abrasion due aux frottements du cadre associée à des zones d'usure par endroits le long des bords. L'extrémité des coins supérieur droit et inférieur gauche est pliée. Un trou de punaise fait par l'artiste vers le coin inférieur gauche. Quelques rares points de saleté principalement dans la partie gauche du bord supérieur. Les pigments sont vifs et frais sur l'ensemble de la composition. Examiné à la lampe à ultra-violets: pas de retouche apparente. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en très bonne condition générale.
