The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. La surface est légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Les quelques légères traces de frottement visibles le long des bords sont probablement dues à l’ancien encadrement. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.
The work is not lined. The surface is slightly dirty and dusty. The few slight rubbing marks visible along the edges are presumably due to a former frame. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
