The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pencil (recto) ; black chalk and pencil on paper (verso). The reverse of the sheet is hinged at the upper corners to a support. The left edge serrated corresponding to the sheet being removed from the artist's sketchbook. Some light-staining with associated spots of foxing and staining in places. Some mat-staining along the extreme edges. Medium is strong throughout. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Graphite (recto) ; pierre noire et graphite sur papier (verso). Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières sur les coins supérieurs à un support. Le bord gauche est irrégulier ce qui correspond au fait que l'oeuvre ait été retirée d'un carnet à dessins. Insolation de la feuille associée à des piqûres et des taches par endroits. Léger brunissement dû au montage à l'extrémité des bords. Le medium est vif sur l'ensemble de la composition. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
