The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pencil on tinted paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged at the upper corners to a support. The left edge serrated corresponding to the sheet being removed from the artist's sketchbook. Some soft creases in places along the edges. Some pale light-staining with associated small spots of foxing in places (the most visible at right of the figure on the left). A small tear towards the left edge and another one towards the lower left corner. Medium is strong throughout. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Graphite sur papier teinté. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières sur les coins supérieurs à un support. Le bord gauche est irrégulier ce qui correspond au fait que l'oeuvre ait été retirée d'un carnet à dessins. Des légères froissures le long des bords. Légère insolation de la feuille associée à des petites piqûres par endroits (la plus visible à droite de la figure à gauche). Une petite déchirure vers le bord gauche et une autre vers le coin inférieur gauche. Le medium est vif sur l'ensemble de la composition. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
