Études de feuilles

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pen and ink on the cover and pen and ink and pencil on the back cover of a sketchbook covered with linen. Some wear and pale surface dirt, some with a few associated pale and unobtrusive stains in places in the covers, due to age and handling. A few small pale spots of foxing in places mainly in the cover.
On the inside (not affecting any composition executed by the artist): The inside front and back covers have been splitted by a vertical tear - with associated paper and linen remnants - due to the fact that the sheets inside the sketchbook have all been removed from the sketchbook.
It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Plume et encre sur la première de couverture et plume et encre et graphite sur la quatrième de couverture d'un album recouvert de lin. De l'usure et de la salissure de surface, associée par endroits à de rares taches pales, sur les deux couvertures, dues à l'âge et la manipulation. Quelques rares petites piqûres par endroits principalement sur la couverture.
A l'intérieur du carnet (qui n'affectent aucune composition exécutée par l'artiste): les deuxième et troisième de couverture ont été séparées par une déchirure verticale - associée à des résidus de papier et de lin - due au fait que les feuilles constituant l'intérieur du canet aient été retirées du carnet.
Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
