The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Charcoal on paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged at the upper corners to a support. The left edge serrated, inherent to the work being previously on a sketchbook. Some light and mat-staining throughout, mainly visible towards the edges. Medium is strong throughout. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
Fusain sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières sur les coins supérieurs à un support. Une perforation visible sur le bord gauche qui correspond au fait que l'oeuvre ait été retirée d'un carnet à dessins. Décoloration de la feuille due au montage visible vers les bords et insolation de la feuille. Le médium est vif sur l'ensemble. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
