The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pencil on paper backed with Japan paper. Some skilfully repaired and unobtusive horizontal and vertical tears running through the composition, most likely due to the work being previously folded in four parts, associated with a small nick to the centre of the extreme upper edge. Some mat and light-staining mainly visible along the edges. One artist's tack hole at each upper corner and one at the lower right corner.

Graphite sur papier doublé par du papier Japon. Une déchirure verticale et une déchirure horizontale réparées avec soin et discrètes sur la composition, qui correspondent très probablement au fait que l'oeuvre ait été pliée précedemment en quatre.
