Le compotier vert 

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. L’œuvre est très légèrement encrassée. Présence de légères traces de frottement associées à de très petits éclats de matière le long des bords. Une légère trace de frottement est visible dans le quart inférieur gauche. Un petit éclat de matière est visible le long du bord gauche vers le haut. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined. The work is very slightly dirty. There are slight rubbing marks associated to very small paint losses along the edges. A slight rubbing mark is visible to the lower left quadrant. A small paint loss is visible at the left upper edge. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
