The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is fully laid down onto canvas and wrapped around a wooden stretcher in an original arrangement. There is some slight discolouration to the paper throughout, some slight scattered foxing, and some scattered surface dirt. There are some surface abrasions in places, notably in the upper right quadrant, and to the extreme edges (overframed). There has been some slight fading to the more fugitive pigments but the sheet reads well.
