A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is not laid down but is taped at the upper edge into a non-acidic topmount. There are a few small repaired tears and abrasions to the extreme edges (overmounted) and there are a few small scattered foxmarks in the sky. There has been some fading to the pigments throughout and some of the watercolour pigments appear to have been strengthened by a later hand. The sheet reads well and could be hung without further attention.
