The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In fairly good condition overall.
With the inevitable knocks, marks, losses, scratches and shrinkage cracks, consistent with age and use.
The lacquered decoration worn overall with rubbing and losses to the gilding and some areas of redecoration.
The circular base with shrinkage split and knocks.
The underside of base with chalked name 'KIDD'.
The shade in fairly poor condition wirth some small tears, frays and dirty overall.
Electrical components appear to be complete but must be reconditioned prior to use, regardless of whether the lot is shown lit or in working condition in the catalogue.  We strongly advise that the item is reconditioned by an appropriately qualified electrician prior to any intended use.
