The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In overall fairly good condition.
With the inevitable knocks, marks, losses, scratches and shrinkage cracks, consistent with age and use.
The top with some deep pitted scratches, filled holes and minor restoration.
The underside of the top with later blocking.
The top possibly replaced in the 19th century.
The two drawer linings with shrinkage splits. The left hand drawer with large split and the runners with extensive, but apparently inactive woodworm.
The handles replaced.
The legs and stretcher with knocks, scratches and wear.
The central stretcher replaced.
The feet possibly replaced.
With a slight wobble and one foot slightly shorter, which would benefit from securing.
Otherwise ready to use.
