The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In overall fairly good condition.
With the inevitable knocks, marks, losses, scratches and shrinkage cracks, consistent with age and use.
The top with some filled holes and as stated reused and refinished and shaped. Now with an overcleaned appearance.
The legs with evidence of historic, apparently inactive woodworm throughout.
The legs with numerous repairs, filled holes and repairs to shrinkage. One leg with extensive spliced repairs and some pegging to counteract shrinkage.
The top of each trestle later. The trestles overall with areas of age, which suggest reusing from an earlier piece of furniture.
The wrought iron tarnished and worn overall and the screws holding them in place replaced.
Otherwise structurally secure and ready to use.
