275 x 215 mm. Pencil and watercolour, on American ‘Fidelity Onion Skin’ paper. Filing holes in the margin. Provenance: Sotheby’s, 18 May 1989, lot 318.

A delightful page filled with studies and sketches for the Little Prince. The most complete of them is coloured and depicts one of the most of the most recognizable features of the character: his curly, sun-bleached blonde hair. The Little Prince also sports a cloak with a long train here.
