The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This watercolor & gouache on paper is in good condition overall. The paper is mounted to 1/4" acidic paper-pulp board and counter mounted on the verso for stability. The paperboard does not present tears, paper losses, or planar distortions. There are two minor indentations in the paper in the upper right quadrant. Visually, the paper is mildly oxidized from contact with acidic material and a natural process of aging due to light exposure. Some pigment in upper right quadrant is most likely a transfer from another work while being stored. Otherwise, the media appears to be well preserved.
