The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work is in excellent condition. The paper on which it is painted has been lined onto linen. The surface is stable. The paint layer is clean and varnished. There are a few tiny spots of retouching in the sky, but none in the landscape. The work is beautifully preserved and should be hung in its current state.
