The paper is laid down on a board that appears to be slightly bowed. There is frame abrasion and the paper retains artist's pinholes along the extreme edges. A ½ in. tear in the upper right corner. Under ultraviolet light, a 7 in. line of inpainting across the mountain at center left (addressing a scratch that is also visible in natural light), spots of inpainting along the extreme edges, and a couple of small specks of inpainting in the clouds.
