Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This condition report was prepared by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: The board on which this work is painted is very slightly convex, but it is not recommended that this be corrected. In the center of the left side, there is a small loss in the center of the black pigment and possibly another in the green background. The extreme edges have some chips, losses and slight frame abrasion. The ivory color ground color was intended to show through in numerous areas, and there is no visible chronic instability or notable areas of loss or restoration.
