The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This watercolor and pencil on paper is in good condition overall. The paper does not present tears, paper losses, or planar distortions. The paper layer is mounted to a 1/8" thick acidic grey board which is taped to the mat at all four verso edges. Visually, the paper is mildly oxidized from contact with acidic material and a natural process of aging due to light exposure. There is a moderate mat burn at all four edges but most visible in the upper left and right quadrants. Moderate fading to watercolor media is evident by the presence of darker tones at the edges.
