Wild Flower was modeled in three sizes: life-size (1909, such as the present work), medium (1916) and small (1923). Another life-size cast was displayed at the Palace of Fine Arts during the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition, San Francisco, California, where it was awarded a bronze medal.
