The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas has been wax lined and tacked over a new stretcher. There appear to be several small spots of surface soiling. Under ultraviolet light, a 1 in. spot and several small dashes of inpainting in the upper left corner, several scattered specks in the lower left corner, a spot in the extreme upper left corner and a dash and scattered specks in the lower right.
