The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work is in very good state. The canvas has been lined using a non-wax adhesive. The stretcher is not original. The surface is stable, and the texture of the paint layer is attractive. The painting seems to be clean, and it does not seem that any retouches have been added.
