The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work on canvasboard is in beautiful condition. Although the original paint reads strongly under ultraviolet light, there do not appear to be any retouches. The slight thinness in the signature is original, rather than the result of any abrasion.
