The paper is affixed to its mat support with two hinges along the reverse upper edge. Scattered spots of foxing, especially along the bottom. A ¼ in. tear on the left edge near the bridge and a small loss in the upper left corner. The paper is slightly buckled, especially along the edges, and the edges are uneven. Mat burn along the edges. Artist's pinholes in the corners. Remnants of two labels along the top edge. Retains a sketch outlining a similar composition on the reverse.
