The canvas has been wax lined and tacked over a new stretcher. Possibly slightly dirty. Under ultraviolet light, there is a small loss in the upper left corner that appears to have been inpainted, but not filled. The left and right tacking edges are painted, suggesting the artist may have re-stretched the work.
