The canvas is lined. Areas of fine surface cracking, concentrated in the lower register. A few minor surface abrasions, most notably across the lower left corner. Under ultraviolet light, inpainting along each edge of the exposed lining canvas, a few specks of inpainting in the background and figure's clothing, and a discolored varnish.
