The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Unlined. Tacked over a new stretcher. The canvas is slightly buckled. Stretcher bar marks along each edge. Surface cracking. Frame abrasion along the extreme edges with small associated losses. Small spot of paint loss in the red cloth. Slightly dirty. Under ultraviolet light, a small spot of inpainting to the area of loss in the cloth and a discolored varnish.
