The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work on panel is in beautiful condition. The panel is flat. The paint layer is stable, clean and varnished. No discoloration or staining has occurred. There are a few tiny spots of retouching around the flags in the upper left corner, and a couple along the bottom edge. The condition is extremely good, and the work should be hung as is.
