The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The paper is affixed to its support with two hinges along the reverse upper edge. Retains artist's pinholes in the corners and along the extreme edges. A 1 in. repaired tear at the right edge near where the ship and sail meet. The edges, except for the left, are slightly uneven. Mild mat burn. A small loss to the upper left corner. A note in pencil of the number '4' is in the lower left corner.
