This report was prepared by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.:
This work has an old lining. The paint layer is stable and in lovely condition. There are no retouches visible under ultraviolet light. The signature and date in the lower right are clearly un-abraded. It does not seem that this work has suffered at all. The thinness of the paint layer is perfectly preserved. The work may be slightly dirty and might respond to cleaning, but it is recommended that the work be hung as is.
