The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This watercolor on paper is in stable condition overall and does not present tears, paper losses, or planar distortions. The paper is glued to a 1/8" thick acidic paper pulp board and exhibits a slight concave bow. There are some small areas in the upper right quadrant where the paper is slightly separating from the board. Visually, the paper is mildly oxidized throughout from contact with acidic material and a natural process of aging due to light exposure. A few spots of foxing are noticeable scattered through the sky area. Although the media appears to be well preserved, the four areas of black pigment are cupping and crackled.
