The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Lined. There is frame abrasion to the extreme edges and networks of craquelure throughout. There is a thin line of abrasion at the lower right edge. Under ultraviolet light there is a spot of inpainting in the sky to the right of the castle, as well as a few thin vertical lines and scattered dashes in the lower right.
