The piece is in very good condition. It has a very thin transparent red brown chemical patina with some traces of green. The thin patina does expose some minor variations in the metal surface. The sculpture has a protective wax coating that has been buffed to an even luster. The detailing, chasing and finishing are of a high quality typical of casts of this period.
