This pastel on paper is in good condition overall. The paper does not present tears or paper losses. The paper is hinged in approximately eight places on the verso around the edges. Exposure to humidity over time has caused moderate planar distortions throughout created by the numerous hinges. Poor handling has contributed to one 2" long crease in the paper in the upper right corner. Visually, the paper is mildly oxidized from contact with acidic material and a natural process of aging due to light exposure. Some areas of the surface appear to have a bit of a sheen to them which is due to the fixative used during execution. Otherwise, the pastel media is very well preserved.
